motivating you to do more than you thought possible, and sharing tips and gear recommendations to help you get there.


My goal for this site is to enable you to enjoy cycling more through a variety of means. Sometimes I try to inspire with my stories about recovery and persistence. Other sections have “how to” information about ultracycling and long rides in general. Finally, I post cycling deals and gear recommendations to make sure you’re outfitted with the right tools to get the job done.

2017 was defined by lumbar spinal fusion, and early 2018 has me sorting through some other circulatory challenges. I’m trying to stay positive and accept the situation, focusing on the concept that “progress is perfection.” Moving forward by any means I can is good enough for now.

You can read the blog posts in two ways. One is scrolling around and choosing posts to read that look interesting. The other way is to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the main page and see the “Categories” listed there. Use that, or the search bar, to hone in on certain topics in which you’re interested.
